Grieg Seafood ASA (the "Company") has received the attached press release announcing that the Grieg family has agreed to divide the assets of the Grieg Group. As a result, Grieg Aqua AS, which owns 50.17% of Grieg Seafood ASA, will have new owners. Under this broader family reorganisation, Grieg Aqua will be allocated to the Willumsen Grieg family branch and the Grieg Foundation.
In connection with this allocation, Willumsen Grieg has entered into an agreement to sell 37.5% of the shares in Grieg Aqua AS to Ackermans & van Haaren (ACKB).
Grieg Seafood ASA is not a party to these transactions but views the development positively. The professional and long-term ownership represented by Ackermans & Van Haaren and Willumsen Grieg, provides a solid foundation for Grieg Seafood ASA's future strategic execution.
