Gemini and Apex Fintech Solutions Collaborate to Bring Gemini’s Regulated Crypto Prediction Markets to Apex's Distribution Network

Gemini is now positioned to be the exclusive CFTC-regulated venue for crypto event contracts distributed through Apex's FCM, giving Apex's brokerage clients regulated access to crypto prediction markets without building their own exchange connectivity 

NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, Gemini Space Station, Inc. (“Gemini”) and Apex Fintech Solutions Inc. (“Apex”) announced they have signed a letter of intent under which Gemini Titan, a subsidiary of Gemini, would become the exclusive regulated venue for crypto event contracts distributed through Apex's Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) to Apex's brokerage customers.
Under the alliance, brokerages that offer crypto event contracts through Apex's FCM will use Gemini for execution and clearing – making Gemini the go-to regulated venue for crypto-based predictions markets accessed through Apex. Beyond crypto, Gemini affords Apex the flexibility to collaborate on additional contract categories, including sports, economics, and financial markets, on a non-exclusive basis.
This collaboration builds on Gemini's recent product and regulatory milestones. In April, its subsidiary, Gemini Olympus, obtained a CFTC Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO) license, bringing derivatives clearing and settlement for Gemini Titan in-house. In December 2025, Gemini Titan secured a Designated Contract Market (DCM) license from the CFTC, enabling Gemini to launch predictions trading.

In July, Gemini announced the launch of stock trading with 0% commissions for certain customers in the United States with Apex Clearing Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apex acting as the custodian and clearing broker.
