GBC AG publishes new annual update study on Deutsche Reinigungswerke AG - clear brand positioning, demonstrated retail acceptance and an attractive product pipeline; fair company valuation of EUR 26.89 million
Augsburg, 29 July 2026 - GBC AG has published a new annual update study on Deutsche Reinigungswerke AG (DRW). In the analysts' view, the company has established key foundations for a scalable consumer-goods growth story since its formation in 2022: a clearly differentiated brand, a market-ready product portfolio, access to leading retail groups and a robust pipeline for additional product categories.
PUREWAVE is now present in bricks-and-mortar food retail and drugstores as well as through relevant online channels. DRW has therefore reached a decisive validation milestone: the brand has demonstrated its retail viability. The next value driver is to convert these existing market access points into broader shelf and store coverage, additional placements and recurring consumer purchases.
Based on a three-stage DCF model, GBC derives a fair equity value of EUR 26.89 million. This corresponds to EUR 142.44 per share or EUR 23.74 per share following the planned share split at a ratio of 1:6.
Investment case: clear brand positioning and a scalable business model
Under the PUREWAVE brand, DRW develops sustainability-oriented laundry, household and cleaning products. The company's mission is to make everyday household cleaning more sustainable without compromising cleaning performance, convenience or brand appeal.
In GBC's view, the key differentiator is not sustainability as a stand-alone product feature, but the combination of plant-based formulations, strong product performance, certified attributes, premium fragrance profiles and modern packaging design. PUREWAVE therefore occupies a position between a traditional eco-cleaning brand and an emotionally engaging premium or lifestyle brand.
The asset-light business model supports scalability: DRW focuses on product development, branding, marketing and sales, while production is outsourced to specialised partners in Germany. This allows the company to scale comparatively flexibly as demand increases, without having to invest heavily in its own production facilities.
Distribution progress demonstrates retail acceptance
Despite its short corporate history, DRW has already established listings and distribution partnerships with leading food retailers, drugstore chains, specialist wholesalers and online platforms. From an analytical perspective, the key point is not the number of individual partners but the broader validation that the product, packaging, positioning and delivery capabilities meet retailers' requirements.
The existing multi-channel base is a strategic asset: new products can be launched through distribution channels that have already been opened. GBC sees the main growth levers as deepening existing listings, expanding the rollout across stores, securing additional shelf and secondary placements, and adding further PUREWAVE products at existing partners. Over the medium to long term, the B2B business is intended to become a complementary second revenue pillar.
Product pipeline expands the addressable market
DRW operates in a large and comparatively resilient consumer-goods market. The German market for laundry, household and cleaning products reached around EUR 5.86 billion in 2025 and is characterised by frequent repeat purchases. PUREWAVE's existing range already addresses important household cleaning categories.
A toilet cleaner and a kitchen cleaner are planned for the second half of 2026. In 2027, colour and heavy-duty laundry detergents are intended to mark the company's entry into the market's largest subsegment, which most recently represented around EUR 1.55 billion. The related development project has already been recognised as an eligible research and development project.
From an analyst perspective, the pipeline is more than a simple range extension: it enlarges the addressable market, increases the potential shelf footprint of the brand and improves the economic utilisation of the distribution infrastructure already established. The overarching objective remains to establish PUREWAVE as a quality and innovation provider with a clear sustainability profile in the German laundry and household cleaning market.
GBC expects significant scaling in 2026 and 2027
For 2026 and 2027, GBC expects a marked acceleration in growth. Key drivers are the expansion of retail presence, the launch of additional product categories and the further development of online distribution. The analysts forecast that operating break-even will be reached for the first time in 2027.
By 2030, GBC expects revenue of more than EUR 16 million and an EBITDA margin of over 22%. Recent gross profit margins of more than 50% and the asset-light structure provide, in the analysts' view, a sound basis for operating leverage. However, successful execution of retail rollouts, robust repeat-purchase rates, financing of the growth phase and the performance of external production partners remain decisive.

With successful execution, we see good prospects for establishing PUREWAVE as a scalable FMCG brand.”
Fair equity value of EUR 26.89 million
Deutsche Reinigungswerke AG was valued using a three-stage DCF model. Based on the expected scaling of bricks-and-mortar and digital distribution, the expansion of the product range and the long-term margin development, GBC derives a fair equity value of EUR 26.89 million.
This corresponds to a fair value of EUR 142.44 per share based on the current number of shares, or EUR 23.74 per share following completion of the planned share split at a ratio of 1:6. The valuation reflects the expected growth and margin development but is subject to the execution and financing risks typically associated with a company in an early expansion phase.
