Publication of the FY25/26 ESG and Sustainability Report
Portfolio avoided 15,142 tCO2e and stored enough renewable electricity to power 23,000 homes for a year
Gore Street Energy Storage Fund plc, the internationally diversified energy storage fund, is pleased to announce the publication of its fifth ESG and Sustainability Report for the year ended 31 March 2026.
This latest report reflects the continued progress in the development of the Company's portfolio, with operational capacity increasing over the year to 643.11 MW (FY24/25: 417.11 MW) and averaging 565.78 MW (FY24/25: 392.16 MW).
The Company qualifies as an Article 8 product under the European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and reports on Principal Adverse Impacts (PAIs) including greenhouse gas emissions, carbon footprint, and Board gender diversity. The report also sets out the Company's contribution to the energy transition and its commitment to responsible investment, including continued voluntary reporting against frameworks such as the Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI).
The report demonstrates that the operational portfolio avoided 15,142 tCO2e, equivalent to removing 3,300 cars off the road for a year,1 and stored 56,975 MWh of renewable electricity, enough to power c.23,000 homes for a year2.
The Company also implemented innovative solutions to further advance its high standards of asset management, including Health & Safety, while continuing to support communities up and down the value chain.
