Foxway has broken ground on a nearly 10,000 m² expansion of its tech center in Tartu, Estonia. The investment will significantly increase the company’s refurbishment capacity, enabling more partners to scale their trade-in and buyback solutions while giving more customers access to high-quality refurbished tech.
Every year, Foxway collects more than three million tech devices, with around 88 percent given a second life. As the company partners with an increasing number of customers across Europe, the expanded facility will create the capacity needed to process greater volumes and make high-quality refurbished tech available to more people and businesses.
The expansion will increase the total floor area of the Tartu facility to approximately 16,890 m². It will also bring together functions currently located in two separate buildings, creating better conditions for collaboration, innovation and further automation of Foxway’s operations.
Foxway’s Board of Directors, main owners Nordic Capital and Norvestor, company representatives, and local politicians gathered yesterday for the official cornerstone ceremony, marking the start of construction.

The Tartu facility is Foxway’s largest tech center and plays a central role in the company’s international business. Its increased capacity will enable Foxway to process more devices while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and efficiency.

The building is expected to be completed in 2027.
