joins

Company
as
Managing
Director
of
the
Space
Division
.
Fuggetta
brings
the
Company
extensive
international
experience
in
the
space
industry,
developed
over
more
than
30
years
at
Thales
Alenia
Space
and
in
subsequent
roles
at
Leonardo
,
where
he
served
as
Senior
Vice
President
of
the
Divisional
Space
Business
and
Head
of
Technology,
Innovation
and
Global
Business
Strategy,
Marketing,
and
Sales,
all
within
the
Space
Business
division.
During
his
career,
he
has
held
managerial
positions
in
the
fields
of
space,
optronics,
and
electronics,
overseeing
scientific,
exploration,
and
Earth
observation
programs,
and
developing
expertise
in
technological
innovation
and
industrialization.
He
has
contributed
to
developing
international
satellite
programs,
including
O3b,
Iridium,
Juno,
Amos
4,
and
the
second-generation
of
COSMO-SkyMed.
He
has
held
Observation
and
Navigation
leadership
positions
and
worked
at
the
CCEL
Electronics
Competence
Center
and
has
also
served
as
Senior
Advisor
to
the
CEO
of
D-Orbit,
consolidating
his
expertise
in
strategy
and
business
development
within
the
Space
Economy.
In
2014,
he
received
the
Stella
al
Merito
del
Lavoro
award
given
by
the
Italian
Republic
through
the
Ministry
of
Labor
and
Social
Policies.
His
appointment
will
help
reinforce
the
Group's
position
in
the
aerospace
sector,
fostering
the
integration
of
Kayser
Space's
know-how
and
experience
with
FAE
Technology's
industrial
capabilities
and
expertise
in
electronics
and
edge
computing.
This
synergy
is
designed
to
expand
the
Group’s
ability
to
develop
high-value-added
solutions
for
space
exploration
and
research
programs,
meeting
the
growing
technological
demands
of
low-Earth
orbit
applications
and
exploiting
new
development
opportunities
in
the
target
market.
