Press Release
EVISO ADDS BIOGAS ENERGY TO ITS MIX: FIRST AGREEMENT SIGNED TO PURCHASE 8 GWh
OF FUEL CELL -BASED BIOGAS ENERGY
REACHED 120.4 GWh OF ENERGY PURCHASED FROM RENEWABLE SOURCES
ESTIMATED CASH BENEFIT OF EURO 3.4 MILLION (UP TO EURO 5.4 MILLION IN SUMMER)
Saluzzo (CN), 16 July 2026 – eVISO S.p.A. (ticker: EVISO) – a technology company, listed on the EGM, operating in the electricity, gas and fruit sectors – announces that it has signed, with a producer belonging to a leading consortium, its first agreement in the biogas segment, for the purchase of 8 GWh of annual energy through a biogas plant equipped with fuel cell technology, located in Piedmont, for a contracted capacity of 1 MW .
In addition, eVISO has signed new agreements with local photovoltaic energy producers for the direct purchase of energy from photovoltaic plants, currently being activated, for an additional combined capacity of 16 MW , thereby reaching 120.4 GWh1 of annual energy purchased from renewable sources in 2026 (+29% compared to the 93.1 GWh announced in March 2026 and +151% compared to the 48 GWh in 2025), of which 112.4 GWh2 from photovoltaic plants and 8 GWh from the above -mentioned biogas plant.
By purchasing energy directly from renewable producers, eVISO benefits from a 60 -day improvement in the cash conversion cycle compared to energy purchased on the electricity market (GME). With the PUN at 170€/MWh3, the estimated cash benefit averages Euro 3.4 million and reaches Euro 5.4 million in the summer months (July and August), when over 28.5% of solar production is concentrated.
Lucia Fracassi, CEO of eVISO, commented: “With this agreement eVISO begins purchasing energy from biogas plants for the first time, a step that fits within the Company’s energy portfolio -building strategy:
diversifying supply sources so that each contributes differently to the strength of the mod el, in this case with a direct impact on working capital management, estimated at Euro 3.4 million on an annual average, with summer peaks of Euro 5.4 million. Competitiveness in the energy market is built through
1 Annual production is calculated by multiplying the plant’s nominal capacity by the number of equivalent operating hours. This is an estimate, as actual production depends on multiple factors and cannot be forecast with precision. For the relevant geograph y, the estimates are calculated as follows: 93.7 MW (total capacity of the photovoltaic plants) * 1,200 h (equivalent operating hours) plus 1 MW of biogas * 8,000 h (equivalent operating hours) = 120.4 GWh per year 2 93.7 MW (total plant capacity) * 1,200 h (equivalent operating hours) = 112.4 GWh 3 PUN of 16 July 2026.

industrial choices capable of combining sustainability, financial soundness and execution quality. I am convinced that biogas represents a new growth lever for eVISO in the renewable energy segment.” Thanks to the first agreement, whose supply is expected to start in November 2026, eVISO adds to its photovoltaic portfolio the direct purchase of energy from biogas plants, broadening its renewable energy portfolio with constant production throughout the year and opening access to a new category of producers, with room for growth both among other plants in the consortium and across the national territory.
In Italy, the first large -scale incentives for biogas plants were introduced with the 2008 Finance Act (Law No. 244/2007). These measures, in force until 2012, proved successful thanks to favourable all -inclusive feed -in tariffs with a 15 -year duration.
The reference market for biogas plants is estimated at an installed capacity of 250 MW4, corresponding to a potential of up to 2 TWh of energy produced on an annual basis. At the end of the incentive period (final deadline 2027), most of the installed biogas fleet will be free to sell the electricity it produces on the market to operators such as eVISO.
The plant covered by today’s agreement is among the first in Italy to have completed the incentive period for biogas -generated electricity, and has chosen eVISO for the offtake of its energy. It generates electricity through fuel cell technology, rather th an traditional internal combustion engines, with an electrical efficiency 20% higher at equal power output and a considerable reduction in CO2 emissions.

Clara Ghigo, Director of Technical, Engineering and After -Sales Accessories Services of eVISO, commented : “Over the next two years, more than 250 MW of biogas plants with an annual energy output of over 2 TWh will complete their incentive cycle and may decide to sell their energy on the market. With this first agreement, eVISO positions itself as a solid and reliable technology partner for the offtake of energy from biogas plants across the national territory. For eVISO, biogas represents a new renewable source alongside photovoltaic, broadening the base of producers served by its proprietary platform. Throug h its monitoring sensors, eVISO supports these producers in consumption control and plant operational efficiency, confirming its role as a reference partner for energy offtake ”.
