Raisio's Elovena® Instant Oatmeal has been named Carrefour’s Breakfast Innovation of the Year in Spain. The award was presented at Carrefour Spain's annual Innovation Awards, Premios Innovación 2026. The recognition is particularly valuable for Raisio and the Elovena® brand, as the winners are selected through a combination of consumer voting and evaluation by an independent panel of experts.
The Carrefour Premios Innovación Gala is an established annual event in the Spanish food industry. The awards are considered one of the country's leading retail innovation events, reflecting Carrefour's position as one of Spain's largest grocery retailers.
The selection process consists of two stages. In the first stage, Carrefour customers and Club Carrefour members vote to determine the finalists. This year's voting took place between 5 May and 1 June 2026. In the second stage, an independent panel of experts selected the winners. The awards were announced on 8 July 2026.
The competition includes 14 product categories. Elovena® Instant Oatmeal received the Breakfast Innovation of the Year award in the breakfast products category.
Elovena® Instant Oatmeal introduced a new product category in Spain
Raisio first launched Elovena® Instant Oatmeal in Spain in late 2025. Instant Oatmeals will bring a new interest to the breakfast category in Spain and Raisio will continue to bring new innovation and develop this usage occasion in the coming years.

According to Harkley, oats are already part of daily life for Spanish consumers and Elovena® Instant Oatmeal offers consumers a more convenient and enjoyable way to enjoy oats: it is easy to take on the go, quick to prepare and, of course, delicious.
