Diamond Drilling Extends and Defines Broad Near-Surface Silver Zone at Elizabeth Hill
Alien Metals Limited (AIM: UFO), a minerals exploration and development company, announces that its joint venture partner in the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project ("Elizabeth Hill"), West Coast Silver Limited ("West Coast Silver") (ASX: WCE), has today announced the receipt of further assay results for the Elizabeth Hill North ("EHN") and Elizabeth Hill Deeps ("EH Deeps") diamond drill programmes.
Highlights:
· |
Diamond drilling intersects 67.1m @ 19 g/t Ag from surface (26WCDD036) in a broad near-surface silver zone extending west of the current Elizabeth Hill Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) block model1, including internal higher-grade zones of: |
- 12.3m @ 22 g/t Ag from 24.7m down hole; and |
- 10.9m @ 24 g/t Ag from 43.9m down hole. |
· |
Further significant intersections ≥10 g/t Ag include: |
- 48.5m @ 19 g/t Ag from 1.5m down hole (26WCDD035), including - 25.5m @ 23 g/t Ag from 16m; |
- 24m @ 14 g/t Ag from 35.5m down hole (26WCDD033), including - 2.7m @ 22 g/t Ag from 35.5m. |
· |
Diamond holes 26WCDD031-036 have infilled and extended the mineralised zone at EHN2, confirming broad zones of low to moderate grade silver within, below, north and west of the current MRE block model. |
· |
This near-surface zone is interpreted to sit around the known high-grade silver system, remains open, and has potential to add volume and contained metal to the current MRE. |
· |
At EH Deeps, minor silver mineralisation in 26WCDD030 constrained the northern extent of the newly identified high-grade zone3, which remains open to the east and south. |
· |
Final diamond core assays (26WCDD037-39) expected by the end of August 2026. |
· |
Results will feed an updated JORC 2012 MRE in Q4 2026 and the Elizabeth Hill Scoping Study, also commencing Q4 2026. |
· |
Further step-out and infill diamond drilling planned for H2 2026 to follow up H1 successes, advance conversion of Inferred to Indicated resources, and continue defining the new high-grade zone below historical mining. |

Notes to Editors
Alien Metals Ltd is a mining exploration and development company quoted on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (AIM: UFO). The Company follows a balanced strategy focused on advancing and strengthening its asset portfolio through targeted technical work and project development, while evaluating partnerships, joint ventures, and selective monetisation opportunities to enhance shareholder value. At the same time, Alien will continue to consider opportunities to expand its asset base through carefully selected acquisition opportunities consistent with the Board's disciplined investment criteria.
Alien's 100%-owned Georgina Basin IOCG Project comprises a tenement package of approximately 2,500 km² in the East Tennant province of the Northern Territory. Exploration by the Project's former owners has confirmed the IOCG potential of the tenement package, with the identification of elevated IOCG pathfinder elements, including copper, bismuth, silver and uranium, in drilling, and three drill-ready gravity anomalies remain to be adequately tested.
Alien's principal iron ore focus is the advancement and development of its 90%-owned Hancock Iron Ore Project in the central Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Hancock tenements contain a JORC-compliant resource of 8.4Mt at 60% Fe and offer significant exploration upside, which is targeted to deliver a mining operation of 2Mtpa for 10 years. The Project benefits from direct access to the Great Northern Highway, providing a route to export facilities at Port Hedland, one of the world's largest iron ore export hubs. Alien also holds exploration interests in the Brockman and Vivash iron ore projects in the West Pilbara.
Alien additionally retains exposure to two advanced precious and base metal assets in the Pilbara. At Munni Munni, one of Australia's largest PGM systems hosting a historic resource of 2.2Moz PGM (palladium, platinum, and rhodium) and gold, the Company has completed its partial asset sale and joint venture transaction with GreenTech Metals Ltd under which Alien retains a 30% interest, free carried to completion of a bankable feasibility study at Munni Munni, and additionally holds 37.9 million shares in GreenTech Metals Ltd. Alien (via a wholly owned subsidiary) also retains a 30% interest in the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project through a joint venture with West Coast Silver, which encompasses the Elizabeth Hill Mining Lease M47/342, which has produced some of Australia's highest-grade silver ore during the late 1990s. Alien retains a 30% interest in the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project and additionally holds 30.5 million shares in West Coast Silver Limited, providing both direct project exposure and equity participation in ongoing development.
