("Sound Energy", the "Company" and together with its subsidiary undertakings the "Group")
Directorate Change
Sound Energy, the AIM-listed transition energy company announces that David Blewden has tendered his resignation and intends to step down from the board on 12th February 2027 after six and a half years of exemplary service to the Company.
David has served on the Board tirelessly since July 2020 and has chaired the Audit Committee from that date. David also served on the Remuneration & Nominations Committees and more recently the Health, Safety, Security and Environment committee
David has decided to reduce his work commitments and has given sufficient notice to affect an orderly succession for a new independent Non-Executive Director. With the Company's balance sheet debt eliminated and material cash to pursue new opportunities, David has once again shown his commitment to ensure Sound has a stable and solid future.
Graham Lyon, Sound Energy Chairman, commented:
"I would like thank David for his support and guidance on the board and his excellent Chairmanship of the Audit Committee. His fiscal knowledge, insight and experience have been of great help guiding the Company through its recent restructuring and the entire team at Sound wish David well in his future endeavours."
