The Board of DCI is pleased to announce that, effective immediately, Glen Broadhurst has been appointed to the DCI Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee.
A Guernsey resident, Glen is a qualified accountant with over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry having worked in the Banking, Insurance, Fiduciary and Investment Management sectors. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Member of the Institute of Directors, holding the Diploma in Company Direction, and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
During his career in financial services, he has acted as Director for a wide variety of regulated entities, including licensed fiduciary services companies in Guernsey and The Bahamas, several Guernsey-licensed investment management companies, and a Bahamian hedge fund of funds. He also acted as Director for a Dublin-listed UCITS III AAAm-rated Money Market Fund.
Current Non-Executive Director positions held include Terra Firma, an open-ended real estate fund, two PoI-Licensed Managers, a PCC Fund (as Chair), three local insurers and the Health Improvement Commission, a local charity.
Glen was Head of Finance at Generali Worldwide Insurance Company Limited from 2008 until 2019 prior to which he was Head of Corporate Centre at BSI Generali Bank (CI) Limited with responsibility for the Accounting, Control, Credit, Compliance and Client Records functions, including all board, regulatory and management reporting.
