Mikael Kovero appointed as CFO of Elenia
Elenia Verkko Oyj €3,000,000,000 Multicurrency Programme for the Issuance of Bonds, unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Elenia Oy, Elenia Holdings S.à r.l and Elenia Investments S.à r.l.
Mikael Kovero has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Elenia starting 1 December 2026. Kovero will assume the position from his role as Elenia's Head of Treasury. Kovero has worked successfully at Elenia with treasury, finance and business planning since 2015. He has previously worked in corporate finance advisory at KPMG and in the bank sector at Danske Bank, among others. He has a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration and holds the CFA designation.
Kovero will bring profound knowledge especially within finance, funding, network regulation and business development to Elenia's management team. He will for his part strengthen Elenia's role as a trusted builder of sustainable growth in the core of the electrifying society.
Elenia's current CFO Tommi Valento will continue in an advisory capacity until the year-end to ensure smooth transition.
