Change of Chief Finance Officer
Platform HG Financing plc
10 August 2026
Platform Housing Group (Platform), one of England's largest social landlords, is announcing that Amanda Holgate has been appointed as Chief Finance Officer (CFO). Amanda will take over from Rosemary Farrar, who has made the decision to step down after a six-year tenor.
Amanda, who will start her role in September 2026, is an experienced executive with a strong track record across social housing, care, financial services and real estate. Most recently she held the roles of Interim Chief Executive Officer and CFO at Anchor, where she led the organisation through a period of regulatory and operational transformation while strengthening governance, financial performance and strategic direction. She has also held executive and senior leadership roles at Southern Housing, Peabody, Barclays and Morgan Stanley, leading major mergers, refinancing programmes, business transformation initiatives and governance improvements.
Helen Gillett, Chair of the Platform Housing Board said: "We are pleased to welcome Amanda to Platform. Her extensive finance experience, strong understanding of the housing sector and record of executive leadership will be important as the Group continues to invest in its existing homes and services, deliver new affordable housing and maintain a resilient financial position."
Amanda said: "Platform has a strong social purpose and an established reputation with the sector and investor community. I look forward to working with the Board, executive team and colleagues to support the Group's long term financial resilience and the delivery of its strategic priorities."
