Orbit appoints Paul Edwards as new non-executive director

Orbit Group Limited (the "Group") has announced the appointment of Paul Edwards as non-executive director to its Common Board from 7 September 2026.
Paul's appointment further strengthens the effectiveness of Orbit's governance, enhancing its oversight and guidance across both daily operations and its strategic approach to delivering its 2030 Strategy.
Commenting on Paul's appointment, Stephen Jack, Group Chair, said: "I am delighted to welcome Paul to our Board. He brings over 25 years of experience in social housing, along with an exceptional understanding of the financial, regulatory and operational requirements of the sector. Paul's skillset complements the range of capabilities already on our Board, both within and beyond the sector. This further strengthens our insight as we guide Orbit in delivering its 2030 ambition to provide amongst the best customer experience of any housing association in the country."
Paul is an experienced social housing leader. He is currently Chief Executive of Delta Housing, having formerly been Chief Executive of Chelmer Housing Partnership, and has held senior director roles at Havebury Housing Partnership.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, a member of the National Housing Federation's Finance Policy Advisory Group, and a contributor to the SORP Working Party on housing accounting.
His expertise spans strategic leadership and governance, financial planning and treasury management, regulatory compliance, business transformation, risk management and decarbonisation, and IT modernisation.
