The Board of Aquila European Renewables plc (the “Company”) announces that David MacLellan, an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, has been appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman Designate of Neuberger Berman Private Equity Partners Limited (“NBPE”), a FTSE 250-listed private equity investment company managed by Neuberger Berman, with effect from 23 September 2026. Mr MacLellan will succeed William Maltby as Chairman of NBPE on 11 December 2026, following a transition period.
This announcement is made in accordance with Listing Rule 6.4.9(2).
