(DIT:IM), the leading “GLocal Travel Tech” company in experiential incoming tourism – listed on Euronext Growth Milan (“Destination Italia” or the “Company”), met today under the Chairmanship of Eng. Secondina Giulia Ravera, and reviewed key consolidated KPIs, unaudited, relating to the first half of 2026.
Consolidated sales revenues¹ stood at 39.4 million Euros, an increase of 2.0% compared to the first half of 2025, which was 38.7 million Euros.
The Contribution Margin² stood at 4.8 million Euros, an increase of 19.1% compared to the 4.0 million Euros recorded in the first half of 2025. The performance highlights the initial significant results of the “EBITDA Generator” strategy, based on the development of high-margin business units, confirming its ability to support profitable and sustainable revenue growth. The performance was particularly supported by customers from the European market, which recorded a 27% YoY sales growth (from 7.3 to 9.2 million Euros in H1 2026), a sign of the growing preference of European travelers for intra-continental destinations. The luxury brand SONOTRAVELCLUB, dedicated to high-end clientele, also showed positive performance, with sales growing by 35% YoY (from 4.9 to 6.6 million Euros in H1 2026). The North American market also continued its growth, with sales increasing by 5% YoY (from 11.3 to 11.9 million Euros in H1 2026).
In an international context marked by a significant slowdown in incoming tourism, with flows from the Persian Gulf area³ contracting by approximately 35% in March, 60% in April, and 20% in May 2026, according to the latest mobile telephony data, and with 90.1% of US travel agencies reporting a reduction in new bookings⁴, the Group has nevertheless improved its results compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. This performance confirms the increasing diversification of the business model, supported by the contribution of the Destination Consulting Firm Business Unit and the HubCore.AI platform, marketed as SaaS, which have generated an increase in margin.
1 Starting from the first quarter of 2026, for a more comprehensive representation of the Group's performance, the comparison of revenues and profitability includes, in addition to the Gross Travel Value (GTV) generated by Destination Italia S.p.A. and Destination 2 Italia S.r.l., also the contribution of Welcomely S.r.l., HubCore.AI S.r.l., Il Mio Viaggio in Sicilia S.r.l., and the “Destination Consulting Firm” Business Unit. This representation of KPIs will also be adopted in subsequent periodic press releases.

It is specified that the “Contribution Margin” represents a different name for the same indicator previously defined as “Intermediation Margin”.
