DELIVERY OF FIRST ATR 72-600 AIRCRAFT TO FINNAIR
Avation PLC (LSE: AVAP, Avation or "the Company"), the commercial passenger aircraft leasing company announces that, further to its announcement on 8 July 2026, it has delivered the first of the two ATR 72-600 being transitioned to Finnair and the lease term has commenced.
Both aircraft are owned by Avation and are being leased to Finnair for terms of six years. Delivery of the second aircraft is scheduled for September 2026.
Jeff Chatfield, Executive Chairman of Avation PLC, said: "We are pleased to have delivered the first aircraft to Finnair, Finland's flag carrier and one of the world's most established airlines. Finnair is also a member of The oneworld Alliance.
"This delivery supports Avation's strategy of diversifying its customer base. When aircraft are returned by lessees, or otherwise require transition, Avation conducts a careful and broad marketing process to identify suitable opportunities with a diversified range of lessees."
