Cardiogeni PLC
("Cardiogeni" or the "Company")
Annual report update and temporary suspension from trading
Cardiogeni (AQSE: CGNI), a UK clinical stage biotechnology company founded by 2007 Nobel Laureate Sir Martin Evans to develop and commercialise novel heart regeneration medicines, announces that the publication of its audited annual accounts for the year ended 31 March 2026 will be delayed beyond 30 September 2026. This is due to auditor resourcing constraints, which led to the appointment of a new auditor, HaysMac, later in the process than usual.
As a result, trading in the Company's shares on the Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market will be suspended with effect from 7.30 a.m. today, pending publication of the audited annual accounts.
The audit is progressing well and the Company expects to publish its audited annual accounts in the second half of October 2026, at which point it will seek restoration of trading, and will provide further updates as appropriate.
