Cyabra Awarded Positions on FBI Multi-Award IDIQ Contract for Specialized Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Tools

Five-year ordering period through September 2031 positions Cyabra to compete to supply AI-powered image and video analysis that uncovers manipulated, synthetic, and inauthentic content

New York, NY, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --  Cyabra, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYAB) (“Cyabra” or the “Company”), an artificial intelligence (“AI”)-powered narrative intelligence company that helps governments and enterprises detect coordinated manipulation and protect digital trust, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Cyabra Strategy Inc., has been awarded positions under both the Image Information and Video Information categories of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Specialized Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Tools multi-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The five-year ordering period runs through September 2031, during which Cyabra is eligible to compete for task orders from FBI headquarters divisions and field offices across the United States.

As generative AI tools make deepfake videos, altered imagery, and synthetic visual content faster, cheaper, and harder to detect manually, federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies increasingly need scalable, evidence-based analysis. Cyabra’s narrative intelligence platform, delivered as cloud-native SaaS, equips analysts with authenticity scoring and supporting forensic signals for images and video. Capabilities include detection of GAN- and diffusion-generated content, face swaps and splice points, plus C2PA content-provenance checks and account authenticity scoring for context on who is sharing the content.

“When an image or video surfaces in an investigation, the first question is whether it is real, and the next is whether the account sharing it is authentic,” said Dan Brahmy, Co-Founder and CEO of Cyabra. “The FBI’s decision to create dedicated image and video categories signals that investigative demand is moving toward evidence-based answers that hold up under scrutiny. Selection in both positions Cyabra to compete for that demand, and we are committed to building our U.S. public sector business, where we see significant opportunity.”

“Our selection for this FBI contract vehicle reflects the strength of Cyabra’s visual AI analysis capabilities,” said Keith E. Noble, Ph.D., Vice President of U.S. Government Sales at Cyabra. “This IDIQ gives FBI divisions a streamlined way to acquire image and video analysis in support of their investigative missions, and we look forward to competing to provide ours.”

Selection for the FBI’s Specialized OSINT Tools IDIQ vehicle is an important step in Cyabra’s federal expansion strategy. It builds on Cyabra’s existing public-sector contract vehicles and channel partnerships serving U.S. federal, defense, and intelligence agencies. Cyabra believes the award establishes a pathway to recurring federal license revenue and a credible reference point as the Company pursues additional federal opportunities.
