Crunchfish will exhibit at Sibos 2026 in Miami, one of the world’s leading events for the global financial community. At booth DISS40 in the Discover exhibition area, Crunchfish will showcase its Governed Offline Payments technology and meet with banks, payment systems and other industry stakeholders. Crunchfish has also been selected as one of two finalists in the Established Trendsetter category of the Sibos Discover Perfect Pitch competition.

Sibos 2026 brings together thousands of senior executives, decision-makers and experts across banking, payments, securities and technology. This year’s agenda addresses several topics closely aligned with Crunchfish’s technology, including payment resilience, CBDC, cross-border payments, financial inclusion and digital infrastructure.
Crunchfish will showcase Governed Offline Payments, its patented Layer-2 architecture that enables digital payments to continue when connectivity or the underlying payment system is temporarily unavailable. Through a reservation-based model, money remains within the regulated financial system while payment authority can be exercised locally offline, providing resilience without creating a parallel form of money or introducing unmanaged credit risk.
Crunchfish’s presence at Sibos comes with additional recognition. The company has been selected from a global field as one of only two finalists in the Established Trendsetter category of the Discover Perfect Pitch competition. On Wednesday, September 30, Crunchfish CEO Joachim Samuelsson will take to the Discover Stage to pitch how Governed Offline Payments addresses financial inclusion, payment resilience and systemic risk.
Throughout Sibos, Joachim Samuelsson and Gagan Kochar will be available at booth DISS40 to demonstrate the technology and discuss how Governed Offline can be integrated with existing payment infrastructure.
“Sibos is the ideal arena for us to engage with the global financial community. Payment resilience has moved rapidly up the agenda for banks, payment systems and regulators, and we believe Governed Offline provides a fundamentally approach to the challenge. Being selected as an Established Trendsetter finalist gives us an excellent platform to present that thinking, but we are equally looking forward to the many conversations at our booth. We invite anyone interested in resilient payments to come and meet us in Miami,”says Joachim Samuelsson, CEO of Crunchfish.

About Crunchfish – crunchfish.com
Crunchfish is a deep fintech company developing governed offline payments technology for payment systems, banks, and payment applications. The company enables offline payments as a Layer-2 solution on top of existing payment systems, allowing transactions to be executed without connectivity while ledger authority and settlement remain unchanged. Through a reservation-based model, resilience is achieved without creating parallel forms of money or unmanaged credit risk. Crunchfish’s architecture is patented and enables interoperability across multiple payment systems and markets. The solution strengthens system stability while also supporting economic incentives by ensuring that liquidity backing offline payments remains within the regulated financial system.
