Bevest ASA ("the Company"), through its subsidiary Corvus Estate AS, has entered into an agreement to acquire the property at Kalvøyvegen 13, Jøsnøya, Hitra, from AKVA Group ASA in a sale-and-leaseback transaction. The transaction is expected to complete in September 2026.
As part of the transaction, a purpose-built "bare house" facility will be constructed on the property. Once completed, AKVA Group ASA will lease the new facility under a triple-net lease with a term of 13 years from handover. Until the new facility is completed, AKVA Group ASA will continue to occupy and lease the existing building on the property.
The total property comprises approximately 35 daa on Jøsnøya, Hitra — one of Norway's most important industrial clusters for suppliers to the aquaculture and fish-farming industry, with direct quay access and proximity to critical marine and industrial infrastructure. Beyond the new facility and the existing building, the site includes substantial fully developed land with significant potential for further industrial development.
The transaction is aligned with the Company's strategy of building a dedicated real estate platform within logistics and light industrial, characterised by long leases and solid tenants supporting stable cash flow. It extends the portfolio rotation pursued since the acquisition of Corvus Estate, following the Oppdal transaction earlier this year.
