Cognizant Selected by SITA to Deliver AI-Led Global Finance Transformation on the Cloud

Collaboration will help SITA create a Frontier Finance function - data-driven, innovative and focused on growth and measurable business value - using AI and new ways of working

AMSTERDAM and GENEVA, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) today announced that it has been selected by SITA, the world's leading specialist in air transport technology, as the implementation and transformation partner for SITA's SKY program. The groupwide, finance-led initiative will help SITA implement a modern cloud platform across finance, procurement and supply chain processes, designed to deliver measurable business value across SITA's global operations in more than 200 countries and territories.

The transformation is designed to move finance beyond reporting and operational processing, establishing it as a more strategic, growth-focused partner to the business. Cognizant will work with SITA to implement a cloud-based ERP and management platform spanning planning, performance, project management and procurement. By connecting these functions through a shared data foundation, consistent ways of working and AI-led insights, SITA aims to strengthen planning, identify opportunities earlier and align resources more closely with its growth priorities.

Cognizant's AI-first approach combines deep finance transformation expertise with generative AI implementation agents, informed by intellectual property developed through more than 800 cloud ERP projects. It draws on embedded platform AI capabilities and custom agents built using Cognizant's agentic AI capabilities to embed intelligence into planning, forecasting, project management and day-to-day finance activities — helping SITA accelerate delivery and put AI to work across live finance, procurement and project management processes.

"SITA's SKY program is a transformation program aimed at delivering strong business outcomes," said Nicolas Husson, Chief Financial Officer at SITA. "By standardizing core processes on Oracle Fusion Cloud and building AI into how we operate, we aim to create a more agile finance organization and a strong foundation for our next phase of growth."

"SITA plays a critical role in the global air transport ecosystem, and its growth requires an enterprise platform that can scale with the business, with technology and AI serving the strategy rather than defining it," said Saket Gulati, Senior Vice President and Head of Northern Europe at Cognizant. "By bringing together our cloud platform expertise, AI capabilities and end-to-end transformation experience, we will help SITA build a modern data and operating model foundation, embed new ways of working, and help translate technology investment into growth and measurable business value."

"Enterprise platforms are the backbone of how global organizations run, and SITA's SKY program is a great example of what's possible when that backbone is rebuilt for an AI-first world," said Roshan Subudhi, SVP and Head of Global Markets- Intelligent Enterprise Platforms at Cognizant. "By combining Agentic AI capabilities and our Oracle Fusion expertise, we're not just modernizing systems — we're helping SITA reimagine how finance, procurement and supply chain teams work together, so the business can move faster and make smarter decisions at scale."
