Clarification on AGM Voting Procedure
Pennpetro Energy plc (PPP), the company focused on developing strategic energy projects, provides further clarification on the voting procedure for the upcoming Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) on 30th September 2026 in response to enquiries from a number of shareholders regarding the voting process if shares are not held directly in their own name.
Shareholders of the Company whose shares are held through a broker, nominee, custodian or other intermediary, and who are not themselves named on the Company’s register of members should take the following steps to issue voting instructions:
-Log into to their investment, broker or trading platform portal / contact your broker
-Most platforms provide a means to vote, do this by navigating to the section often referred to as corporate actions, shareholder meetings, or voting section
-Submit the desired voting choices before the deadline (noting that intermediaries set deadlines ahead of the Company’s 48-hour cut-off before the AGM)
If you would like to physically attend the AGM in person:
-Contact your broker or trading platform
-Request a letter of representation or proxy form naming you as the designed attendee
-Bring the official letter and photo ID to the AGM venue
Such underlying beneficial owners should contact their broker, nominee, custodian or other intermediary as soon as possible and instruct the registered holder to vote on their behalf in accordance with the intermediary’s own procedures and deadlines, so that voting instructions can be processed before the deadline for receipt of proxy appointments of 2.30 p.m. on 28 September 2026.
