BEVEST ASA (the «Company») has today made changes to strengthen its management structure with dedicated experience and leadership within commercial, finance and operational activities. The new executive management team gives the Company the best conditions to deliver on the ambitions set by the Company’s board of directors.
Stig Wærnes has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Wærnes has significant commercial and management experience from auditing and recently stepped down after three years as Chairman of the Board of the Company where he worked closely with all portfolio companies. Taking up the role as CEO thus represent a continuity for the Company.
Former CEO, Bjørnar André Ulstein, takes on the role as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a dedicated focus on capital markets, optimizing the Company’s financing, strengthening of the balance sheet and disciplined capital allocation. Former CFO, Bård Skogstad, continues as part of the management team with a dedicated focus on operational activities both internally and as a service to portfolio companies.
