Cerenome, Inc. is officially launching its new corporate identity, marking the next phase in the company’s evolution from a therapeutics-focused biotechnology company into an integrated CNS oncology organization.

Effective August 3, 2026, the company will begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the new ticker CNSY, following its rebrand from Plus Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSTV).
The rebrand reflects Cerenome’s broader strategy to address central nervous system cancers through an integrated model combining precision diagnostics, targeted therapeutics and advanced data analytics. The company believes that improving outcomes in CNS oncology requires more than treating tumors in isolation and instead demands a comprehensive understanding of disease biology across diagnosis, treatment and ongoing patient management.
“The name change is a capstone to what we’ve been doing over the last two or three years. The company has evolved from a single-drug radiotherapeutic company to adding a CSF diagnostic platform, and now AI leveraging the enormous data sets we’ve merged from the therapeutic and diagnostic sides,” said Dr. Hedrick, M.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Cerenome, in his FINTECH.TV interview.
Cerenome’s platform is built around three complementary areas:
The company’s strategy is designed to connect these capabilities across the patient journey, from earlier disease detection and characterization through targeted treatment and longitudinal monitoring.
Cerenome (Nasdaq: CNSY) is also positioning the integrated platform as a foundation for collaboration with healthcare providers, academic institutions and biopharmaceutical companies, creating potential opportunities across research, clinical development and precision oncology.
According to Hedrick, the company’s name reflects this broader vision. “Cere” represents the brain and central nervous system, while “nome” reflects the expansive knowledge sets that underpin the company’s precision oncology strategy.
While the corporate identity and Nasdaq ticker are changing, Cerenome’s existing CNSide and REYOBIQ product brands will remain unchanged.
