Cabonline continues to develop accessible mobility across the Nordics. Travellers in Helsinki can now book wheelchair-accessible vehicles directly in the Cabonline app, using the same booking flow as for other journeys.
The launch in Helsinki follows the rollout in Stockholm and Gothenburg earlier this year and marks the next step in Cabonline’s work to make mobility more accessible to more people across the Nordics.
The new feature makes it easier for wheelchair users to book their journey digitally. By selecting “wheelchair” in the standard booking flow, travellers can book a wheelchair-accessible vehicle directly in the app. Booking and payment are handled in one place, creating a simpler and more seamless booking experience.
– At Cabonline, we work every day to make mobility accessible to more people. Being able to offer the option to book wheelchair-accessible vehicles directly in the app in Helsinki is another concrete step in that work. Our ambition is to make it as easy as possible for people to book a journey based on their individual needs,” says Rickard Alkhos Forsberg, Product Lead at Cabonline.
The launch in Helsinki is part of Cabonline’s long-term commitment to accessible and inclusive mobility. The ambition is to continue developing the solution and make accessible journeys easier to book in more markets across the Nordics.
