Burkhalter Holding AG Burkhalter Group acquires Plasco AG in Steg (Valais)

The Burkhalter Group is set to acquire Plasco AG, based in Steg (Valais). The company employs around 25 people and generates annual sales of approximately CHF 6.5 million.

Plasco AG has established itself as a solid player in the regional market over more than 20 years, specialising in waterproofing for building construction, civil engineering and tunnelling projects. As part of their succession planning, the current owners are selling the company to Burkhalter Holding Ltd. The company will continue to operate as an independent Group company of Burkhalter Holding Ltd under the current management of Josef Pfammatter. The Plasco AG name will be retained and all employees will remain with the company.

A permanently dry structure with good waterproofing is one of the most important prerequisites for the safe and reliable operation of technical building systems. Plasco AG complements the expertise of the Burkhalter Group with its many years of experience in waterproofing systems.

The targeted acquisition of companies in the building technology sector remains a key component of the Burkhalter Group’s growth strategy.
