BTC AB publishes half-year report: BTC yield of 3.4% in Q2, debt-free following loan repayment
The half-year in brief:
Bitcoin holdings increased to 172.0 BTC (31 March: 166.3), financed with preference share capital and without the issuance of any new Class B shares
BTC yield: 3.4% in Q2 and 7.3% since the listing in July 2025
Operating loss of MSEK -41.7 (of which MSEK -39.9 relates to an unrealised revaluation of the bitcoin holdings)
Approximately MSEK 12 was raised in the rights issue; BTC PREF was listed on Spotlight Stock Market on 20 July as Europe's first listed bitcoin-backed preference share
The loan from the custodian institution was repaid on 28 July, and the Company is now debt-free
As of 30 July, the Class B share traded at a discount to NAV of approximately 20%
