Bravida has been selected as the technical partner for the construction of Dansk Data Center 1 (DDC1) at the Port of Esbjerg.
As part of a comprehensive technical contract covering electrical installations, HVAC, plumbing, cooling and building management systems (BMS), Bravida has been contracted to deliver the majority of the technical installations for the new data centre. The contract value is confidential but is in the range of what we would classify as a medium-sized data centre.
The project marks another important milestone in Bravida’s strategic expansion within the data centre segment. Bravida has many years of experience delivering data centre projects across the Nordic region.
"We are proud to have been awarded yet another contract in one of the Nordic region’s new data centre projects. Bravida is a close partner to our customers in the development of digital infrastructure, and with our broad technical expertise, we are a leading provider within the Nordic data centre segment," comments Mattias Johansson, CEO and Group President.
Behind the project are PensionDanmark, Thylander Group, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Plexar. The project was initiated in August 2026 and is expected to become operational during the autumn of 2027.
