Milan, July 9, 2026 – Further to what was anticipated in the press release of May 11 last and as part of the strategy to expand its activities in the alternative investment sector, Borgosesia S.p.A. (“Borgosesia” or the “Company” – BO.MI) – a company listed on Euronext Milan active in alternative asset investments as well as in the management and enhancement of real estate and credit portfolios – announces that it has reached an agreement to subscribe for a stake of 24.5% of the share capital of Alfiere S.r.l.
Alfiere S.r.l., an investment vehicle attributable to Mauro Girardi and other investors, is among the promoters of EHI, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) established with the aim of acquiring stakes in companies characterized by solid industrial foundations and significant untapped growth opportunities.
In particular, EHI targets companies that, despite having competitive fundamentals and development prospects, present room for improvement in terms of management, are facing temporary financial or operational difficulties, or are engaged in managing complex generational succession processes.
The initiative stems from an idea by the Capital Market team of illimity, now part of the Banca Ifis Group, which will support the operation as Euronext Growth Advisor (EGA) and Global Coordinator in the context of the SPAC's listing process.
It is expected that EHI will be admitted to trading on Euronext Growth Milan within the current month, following the completion of a placement for a total amount of approximately €30 million.
