Lake Victoria Gold (TSXV: LVG / WKN: A3E4WC) has reached a crucial milestone: the first resource estimate is now available for the 100 per cent-owned gold project Tembo in north-western Tanzania – situated in the immediate vicinity of the Bulyanhulu mine operated by gold giant Barrick Mining! This transforms the project from a pure drilling story into a tangible gold asset – based on mining licences that have already been granted.
The initial resource extends across the three near-surface zones of Ngula 1, Nyakagwe Village and Nyakagwe East. Within the conceptual open-pit boundaries, the company initially reports 99,700 ounces of gold in the Indicated category (2.69 million tonnes at 1.16 g/t) and a further 480,100 ounces in the Inferred category (13.33 million tonnes at 1.12 g/t).
