Ayfie launches a major upgrade of its AI Assistant — delivering powerful new features

Oslo, 22 September 2026 – Ayfie announces a major upgrade of its AI Assistant, the out-of-the-box frontend of the Ayfie AI platform. This is a significant step up from the existing assistant, delivering redesigned user experience, substantially higher performance, and a broad set of new capabilities — all designed to bring the full power of the Ayfie platform to every user.

Ayfie Assistant is the entry point through which entire organizations interact with their corporate data in real time. With this upgrade, it becomes substantially faster, easier to use, and more capable — while remaining tightly integrated with the rest of the Ayfie platform, including Ayfie Index, Ayfie Make, and the Ayfie MCP Gateway. Importantly, while Ayfie Assistant serves as the frontend to the Ayfie platform, it also stands on its own. It can be used as a standalone Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solution in its own right, and it can then be connected to the wider platform whenever an organization is ready to expand its capabilities.

A New, More Intuitive Experience The upgrade introduces a completely redesigned and more intuitive user interface, making it faster for teams to find answers, work with documents, and get results. Alongside the redesign comes significantly better performance across all fronts, including lightning-fast upload and conversion of documents so users can start working with their content almost immediately.

More Sources, Out of the Box Ayfie Assistant now ships with many more out-of-the-box source connectors, giving users direct access to the systems and data they already rely on. This deepens the platform's integration story: combined with Ayfie Index — the platform's search-optimized “data lake”, which can connect to virtually any data source and pre-indexes data to deliver lightning-fast search without placing load on production environments — and the Ayfie MCP Gateway, users can reach the right information wherever it lives. The upgrade also introduces a completely new built-in MCP Marketplace, which provides a full overview and easier adoption of pre-built connectors, with all of Ayfie's security protocols fully integrated.

Create, Edit and Export Documents Beyond retrieval and chat, users can now create, work with, and edit documents directly in the assistant, then download and export their results — turning Ayfie Assistant from a question-and-answer tool into a productive workspace for everyday tasks. A brand-new Artifacts tool takes document creation to a whole new level, allowing users to instantly create, live-edit, and manage multiple versions of documents directly within the solution. In addition, new multi-format export means results can be extracted in a variety of formats depending on the need, including PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Excel (XLSX) files.

Audio Transcription, Image Analysis and Image Generation The upgrade expands the assistant's multimodal capabilities, enabling teams to work across text, audio, and visual content in a single environment. A new audio transcription feature enables direct transcription of audio files, and image analysis and image generation have both been significantly enhanced.

Choose the Right Agent for the Task A brand-new agent selection menu lets users pick the right assistant and chatbot for the job. This ties Ayfie Assistant directly to Ayfie Make, the platform's enterprise agent and flow builder, allowing specialized agents and automated workflows to be deployed through the same familiar frontend.

Improved Workspaces Workspaces functionality has been improved, giving teams a better environment for collaboration and for organizing their work with corporate data.
