Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Hargreave Hale AIM VCT plc today announces the appointment of a new Non-Executive Director.
The Company is committed to its ongoing refreshment of the Board and to ensure it has appropriate succession plans in place. Following an external recruitment process the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Duncan John Neale as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 October 2026.
Duncan has over a decade of experience as a non-executive director and is currently the Audit Committee Chair for two listed companies, as well as a Risk Committee Chair and Senior Independent Director. He has held numerous senior finance roles over the last 20 years, including Chief Financial Officer for listed and private companies, and has an audit, corporate finance, fundraising and M&A background.

This announcement is made pursuant to UKLR 6.4.6R. In accordance with UKLR 6.4.8R, the Company confirms that the following information is disclosed pursuant to UKLR 6.4.8R (1) in respect to Mr. Neale’s appointment:
Duncan Neale was appointed as a director of:
- Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc on 24 August 2018 and continues to act in this role;
- Atrato Onsite Energy plc on 12 April 2023 and resigned from this role on 13 December 2024; and
- H-Power plc on 1 August 2023 and continues to act in this role.
No further information is required to be disclosed pursuant to UKLR 6.4.8R (2) to UKLR 6.4.8R (6) (inclusive) with respect to Mr Neale’s appointment.
