Alzinova AB (“Alzinova” or the “Company”) announces that CEO Tord Labuda will present the Company at Redeye Neurology Day on October 15, 2026. The presentation will focus on Alzinova’s continued development in the treatment and diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, with the global Phase II study of the vaccine candidate ALZ-101 currently in operational start-up.
Alzinova is at an important stage of development. The global Phase II study of ALZ-101 is in operational start-up together with Worldwide Clinical Trials, with the aim of enrolling the first participant around the turn of 2026/2027. The study is planned to include approximately 120 participants with early Alzheimer’s disease and will evaluate the clinical efficacy, safety and tolerability of ALZ-101.
In parallel, Alzinova continues to advance its blood-based diagnostics program based on the Company’s proprietary Aβ42CC technology. The recently completed study with Amsterdam University Medical Center demonstrated measurable signals of naturally occurring antibody reactivity to toxic amyloid-beta oligomers, as well as a pattern of lower reactivity in patients with Alzheimer’s disease compared with age-matched non-Alzheimer’s controls, in line with previous observations.
During the presentation, Tord Labuda will also provide an overview of Alzinova’s strategy and the activities driving the Company’s continued development, including the clinical development of ALZ-101, the diagnostics program and the Company’s work towards potential commercial partnerships.
