Allotment of New Shares
Volex announces that, in respect of its scrip dividend alternative for the final dividend of 3.2 pence per share for the year ended 31 March 2026, elections were received in respect of 82,155,783 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") as at the scrip election date of 28 August 2026. Accordingly, 478,139 Ordinary Shares (the "Scrip Dividend Shares") have been issued and allotted in satisfaction of such elections at the scrip reference price of 549.80 pence each.
Application has been made for the Scrip Dividend Shares to be admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will take place at 8.00 a.m. on 18 September 2026 ("Admission").
The Scrip Dividend Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares of the Company. Following Admission, the Company's total number of Ordinary Shares in issue will be 182,608,475. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury and therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 182,608,475. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
