Alimak Group's climate targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), an independent validation that the Group's emissions reduction targets are aligned with the latest climate science and support the ambition of limiting global warming to 1.5°C.
Sustainability is integrated into Alimak Group's strategy and long-term value creation. The Group is focused on reducing emissions across the value chain, while supporting customers in improving the efficiency and sustainability of their operations.

The Science Based Targets initiative has approved the following targets for Alimak Group:
* The target covers emissions from purchased goods and services, fuel- and energy-related activities, upstream transportation and distribution, waste generated in operations, business travel, downstream transportation and distribution, use of sold products and end-of-life treatment of sold products.
