Focusrite plc
("Focusrite" or "the Group")
Annual General Meeting Statement and Trading Update
Trading in-line with expectations with healthy underlying demand
Focusrite plc (AIM: TUNE), the global music and audio products group supplying hardware and software used by professional and amateur musicians and the entertainment industry, will today hold its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") at the offices of Stephenson Harwood LLP, 1 Finsbury Circus, London, EC2M 7SH at 1.30 pm.
At the AGM, Phil Dudderidge OBE, Non-executive Chairman, will make the following statement:
"The Group has continued to trade in line with the Board's expectations. Underlying demand has remained healthy across both the Content Creation and Audio Reproduction divisions with trading in the first months of the new financial year ahead of the prior year, consistent with the expected heavier weighting of sales to the first half of the current year.
Whilst the Board remains mindful of the broader macro-economic environment, its expectations for the full year to 28 February 2027 remain unchanged*.
As this is my last AGM as Chair, I would like to thank our shareholders, colleagues, customers and fellow Board members for their support over many years. Serving as Chair of Focusrite has been a tremendous privilege and I am proud of what we have built together over the years. The Group enters this next chapter from a position of strength, with leading brands, an exceptional management team and significant opportunities for future growth. I am delighted that Ian has agreed to succeed me as Chair. His experience leading a global, technology-driven listed business makes him ideally placed to guide the Board through the Group's next phase of development.
While I will be stepping down as Chair, I am pleased to be remaining on the Board as a Non-Executive Director. I look forward to supporting Ian, Tim and the wider management team, and continuing to contribute to the Group's long-term success.
I would also like to thank David Bezem, who is stepping down today as a non-executive director, for his support and wise counsel since our IPO in 2014. David has made an enormous contribution to the development of Focusrite over the past eleven years, and on behalf of the Board I would like to thank him and wish him every success for the future."
* In so far as the Board is aware, as at 3 August 2026, the range of market forecasts for the 12 month period to 28 February 2027, based on published sell-side research, were for revenue of £170.1 million to £173.7 million and adjusted EBITDA of £25.2 million to £27.4 million.
