AGM Statement
BRCK Group PLC (AIM: BRCK), a leading distributor and provider of specialist products and services to the UK construction industry, announces that, at the Company's Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) to be held at 12:00 p.m. today, John Richards, Chairman, will make the following statement.
“The trading environment in the first five months of our current financial year has been consistent with the outlook statement issued in July on publication of the Company’s FY2026 results when we commented that near-term market conditions remained challenging. The UK housebuilding industry continues to be subdued, and broader macroeconomic conditions mean there is limited visibility in the timing of a recovery in new housebuilding starts.
“Whilst housebuilding is a key driver of our Distribution division, and that division remains well positioned for any improvement in housebuilding and RMI demand, the Company also benefits from a diversified business model. Trading at our Design & Install division, which focuses on specialist work including cladding remediation, has started the new financial year well and we take continued encouragement from the improvement in the pace of BSR approval decisions.
“The Board’s expectations for the current financial year remain unchanged.”
The Company will provide a first half trading update, for the six months to 30 September 2026, towards the end of October 2026.
