CALGARY, AB, September 28, 2026 | Acerta Energy Ltd. (“Acerta” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce completion of the acquisition of Astara Energy Corp. (“Astara”), through its wholly owned subsidiary, Acerta Operating Corporation, by way of a plan of arrangement (the “Acquisition”). The Acquisition adds, at close, approximately 4,800 boe/d of operated, liquids-rich production, including 3,500 bbl/d of light and medium crude oil, more than doubling Acerta’s crude oil production to approximately 6,750 bbl/d and increasing corporate production to approximately 13,500 boe/d, rising to an estimated 13,900 boe/d as new wells from Acerta’s ongoing drilling program come on stream over the coming week. Pro forma, Acerta’s production is approximately 60% liquids and 50% crude oil.
In connection with the Acquisition, the Company paid C$127 million, inclusive of assumed net debt, which Acerta paid in cash through a tap of its existing bond and cash on hand.
