Interim Chief Executive arrangements

Interim arrangements have been put in place at Aberdeen City Council ahead of the departure of Angela Scott.
Andy MacDonald, Executive Director of Corporate Services, will become Interim Chief Executive from 12 September 2026, following agreement by the Appointment Panel.
Recruitment for a permanent Chief Executive is under way.
