AAC Clyde Space secures SEK 80 million in growth financing from Swedbank
AAC Clyde Space has agreed a new credit facility with Swedbank of up to SEK 80 million, offering further financing capacity to support continued growth and accelerate selected investments. The facility is available for drawdown during 2027 on market terms. Repayment will begin in Q1 2028 and take place over three years.
Demand for space-based data and intelligence is increasing, creating new opportunities for satellite-based services. AAC Clyde Space is well positioned in this market, with operational satellite constellations, established customers, more than two decades of experience in space-based maritime data, major new programmes underway and next-generation capabilities in development.
The first half of 2026 has been transformational for AAC Clyde Space with major programmes secured to move the growth plan from intent into execution. Two new satellites have been launched, bringing the existing constellation to ten satellites. In addition, four more satellites are already in production for launch next year, existing services are being expanded and major investments are underway to expand capabilities and services in the Data & Services segment.
The Swedbank facility adds another source of available funding to build on this expansion. It provides additional capacity to bring forward selected investments, add further satellite capacity and pursue new growth opportunities.
