Skybound Entertainment Expands Invincible VS with Second Major Content Update; ‘Season 2’ Releasing to Players October 13

5th Planet Games, co-financier and co-distributor of Skybound Entertainment’s fighting game Invincible VS, today updates shareholders on the game’s next major content release. Season 2 will launch on October 13 and introduce a highly anticipated playable character from the award-winning Invincible universe, Angstrom Levy.

Skybound revealed Angstrom Levy in a new trailer this week and shared further Season 2 details across social media including what players can expect from the update. Angstrom Levy is the third downloadable (DLC) character included in the Invincible VS Year 1 Character Pass and the twenty-first playable character overall. Ahead of his October 13 release, fans can play as Angstrom at Evo France, held October 9–11 in Nice, France and considered Europe’s largest fighting game tournament.

The Invincible VS Year 1 Character Pass includes four post-launch DLC characters. The pass is included with the physical Invincible VS Collector’s Edition, co-distributed by 5th Planet Games. Players without the Year 1 Pass can also purchase each DLC character separately. This model adds value for existing players and encourages repeat sales, while creating entry points for new players.

In addition to new in-game content, Skybound continues to support Invincible VS through competitive events, community engagement and targeted promotions designed to retain and reactivate existing players while attracting new ones. In recent weeks, Skybound has secured the game’s participation

at dozens of competitive fighting-game events. Season 3 content is planned for release this winter. Invincible VS is also currently available at a 40% discount as part of Sony’s PlayStation Autumn Adventure Sale, aiming to drive new sales of the game ahead of the Season 2 launch.

Co-financed by 5th Planet Games and developed and published by Skybound Entertainment, Invincible VS was released worldwide on April 30, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Physical console editions are co-distributed by 5th Planet Games through key European retailers and comic book shops, including the Nordic region under its partnership with Nordisk Interactive A/S, Eastern Europe in partnership with Glomerk SA, and the Benelux region in association with BIGBEN Interactive Belgium S.A.
